Sperry was established in 1935 after Paul Sperry was thrown overboard and was inspired to create non slip footwear based off his dogs footpads. From this he created the world’s first non-slip deck shoe.

Since 1935 they’ve designed and adopted new technologies that make the shoes even better. However they still have their original style ‘the top sider’ available to purchase.
